Annapurna base camp is situated behind the Machhapuchhre Mountain and infront of the Annapurna south. The ABC trek is very popular among the tourist because it is closer to Pokhara which is ofcourse one of the famous tourist destination.
The hike for ABC trek strats from Jhinu Danda (1780m). To reach Jhinu, you need to drive 15Km off-road from phedi; however, there is sealed road upto phedi from Pokhara. This trek is 5-7 days trip and there are plenty of stops where you can stay over night. In fact every 2-3 hours of hike, you will find place to stay overnight. Most of the stay provide lodging, foods, shower, hot drinking water, wifi etc. while some places have more facilities.

- Sinuwa (2300m)
- Bamboo (2310m)
- Dovan (2505m)
- Deurali (3230m)
- Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m)
- Annapurna Base Camp (4130m): Final Stop
Tips:
- Check the Weather before heading off.
- Stay Hydrated and Keep Refilling water bottle .
- Keep it up easy with your own pace
- Remember to pack lightly, 5-10kg for 4/5 days is enough.
- Snaks, hydrate tablets, sunblock cream, mosquito repellant, sunnies, handy knife, power bank and first aid kit.
Things not to Do During Trek:
- Speeding: Increasing your walking pace is not good especially walking downhill, which might be injurious to your legs.
- Cruising alone: You never know what is comming, so be with your team.
- Over loading the bagpack: You will barely use your every clothes.
