DLL stands for Dynamic Link Library, implemented on the operating system by Microsoft cooperation. It is used to store source code or data information for executing any programs on Windows. You will mostly find this type of file on your computer windows installation drive i.e C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\SysWOW64 directory.
